Wheelchair Accessibility

Wheelchair-accessible seating and companion seating are available for all performances. and can be accessed via ramps inside the concert hall. These seats can be purchased online or through the Box Office.

Most seating sections in Boettcher Concert Hall have stairs, if you have questions about seating locations that do not require any stairs (or very few) please call the Box Office.

Wheelchair accessible parking is located on levels 3, 4, and 5 of the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) Parking Garage. The entrance to Boettcher Concert Hall is located on Level 3. Curb-side drop off Drop-off locations at curbside ramps are located at 14th and Curtis streets and at 13th Street underneath the Arts Complex Parking Garage and Galleria. From there, take the DPAC Garage elevators to Level 3 to reach the Boettcher Concert Hall entrance.

If parking across the street at the Colorado Convention Center Garage, patrons should take the Z elevators on the Champa Street side to “Street Level.” Then cross Champa at the signal and follow the 13th Street sidewalk to the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The path is accessible and well-lit. From there, take the DPAC Garage elevators to Level 3 to reach the Boettcher Concert Hall entrance.

Boettcher Concert Hall has courtesy wheelchairs that patrons may use on a temporary basis to assist guests from the Arts Complex garage or the 14th Street entrance to their seats. Please contact the House Manager upon arrival to request use of these wheelchairs. Alternatively, you may arrange for use in advance by calling (720) 865-4200.

Seating widths vary slightly in each section of Boettcher Concert Hall. Please see below for more information.

Orchestra: 19.5″
Orchestra Removable/ADA Seats: 19″
Mezzanines 1, 3 & 5: 19.5″
Mezzanines 2, 4, 7 & 8: 20″
Dress Circle: 19.5″ 
Dress Circle Removable/ADA Seats: 18.5″

Ushers are happy to provide armless, metal framed chairs upon request. These seats can only be offered in removable/ADA seating locations. Please reach out to the Colorado Symphony Ticket Office before your performance to coordinate your seating request.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices are available at Boettcher Concert Hall. Patrons wishing to use this service should see a lobby attendant for information. A photo ID is required as a security deposit. Please specify if you require a hearing aid compatible unit.

Assistive Listening Devices operate on a FM radio frequency.  Microphones above the stage capture the sound, transport it to the sound board, and then directly to the device.  The listener can adjust the sound level based on their preference. 

Individuals with a cochlear implant or hearings aids with a t-switch may benefit from our neckloop/t-coil option. Patrons may bring personal headsets with 3.5mm connectors; standard stereo headphones with a 3.5mm connector are also available at Boettcher Concert Hall.

The current model of Assistive Listening Devices available are: LR-500 Portable Programmable Display Receiver.

Request an Interpreter

If you would like an ASL interpretation for any concert please contact the Box Office at least 2 – 3 weeks prior to your desired performance by e-mailing tickets@coloradosymphony.org or by calling (303) 623-7876.
