Tone poem for orchestra and chorus uses all 18 stanzas of Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven”
The Colorado Symphony announces the public release of William Hill’s The Raven on CD and digital download. Composed by Hill, Principal Timpanist for the Colorado Symphony, The Raven was commissioned by the Colorado Symphony and Chorus and premiered March 27 and 28, 2015.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
The Colorado Symphony announces the 25th Colorado Symphony Ball, themed RhapsodyRock, to be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Denver’s historic Fillmore Auditorium. The Colorado Symphony announces the return of their annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute concert: Sacrifice for Justice. This year’s performance, which will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Boettcher Concert Hall, comes during the 50th Anniversary year of Dr. King’s assassination. It will feature guest performances by Michael Chipman, Stephanie Hancock and Rajdulari.
