The Colorado Symphony’s commitment to support the development of young musicians. Programs are designed to enhance a student’s education while stimulating creativity and imagination. The Colorado Symphony continues its commitment to provide exceptional music education opportunities for students throughout metropolitan Denver and along the Front Range. Students, teachers and other adults may experience the Colorado Symphony through a variety of programs.

MATHNOTES is an innovative and popular program showing the relationships between music and mathematics, and how each can help explain the other.
MUSIC OF LIFE is an imaginative program about how music and living things are created. This program offers a fascinating way to review music curriculum standards and enhance the life science curriculum.
TOUCH OF SYMPHONY is a highly flexible program offering chamber music performances that include the entire school, or provide a performance and master mentor coaching session for large or small groups of students. Available ensembles include: Colorado Symphony Brass Quintet (reserve early, this is our most popular ensemble), Colorado Symphony String Quartet – explore the string family with a performance featuring duets, trios and quartets.

Music
This program is designed to provide an opportunity for instrumental music students to expand their technical knowledge and artistic expression through coaching sessions led by Colorado Symphony musicians. These sessions have proven to be invaluable to teachers and students.
