Bobbie Hill
Bobbie joined the orchestra in 1973 when it was the Denver Symphony. She grew up in Arlington, VA. She attended the University of Maryland and transferred to the Manhattan School of Music to study with William Lincer. She played with the Colorado Philharmonic, the Reston Music Festival and the National Ballet Orchestra in Washington, D C until she moved to Colorado. She currently teaches beginning violin students both privately and in Denver Public School programs. Hiking and backpacking with her German Shepherds are her favorite pastimes. She and two other orchestra members successfully climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa in 2005 and she completed backpacking the 490 mile Colorado Trail the summer of 2007.
