Kristin Jurkscheit

Kristin Jurkscheit has been a member of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra since 1992. During her 18 years with the orchestra, Kristin has performed as soloist in Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 2, Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante as well the Konzerstucke for Four Horns by Robert Schumann. She has enjoyed annual concerts with the CSO horn section in recitals, masterclasses and performances for the Denver Broncos. Kristin is also Principal Horn with the Cabrillo Music Festival and a regular sub with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Ms Jurkscheit has been a faculty member at the Barry Tuckwell Institute, Metro State College (Denver, CO) and a guest lecturer at Colorado University Boulder. She enjoys running, hiking, cooking, reading and lots of traveling.
