The Colorado Symphony

Thomas Hanulik

Tom looks young because he is, but don’t let that fool you. He’s been a proud and strong member of the Colorado Symphony violin section since 1985! He also managed to squeeze in Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Juilliard prior to joining the Colorado Symphony. Tom is a valuable asset to the Colorado Symphony violin section precisely because of his dedication and commitment to learning and maintaining a professional skill level on the violin. When Tom isn’t on stage at Boettcher rehearsing and performing 6 days a week with the Colorado Symphony he is cultivating his outside interests. Musically these include performances with the festivals of Tanglewood, Strings in the Mountains, and Crested Butte, as well as small ensemble performances with Colorado Symphony colleagues throughout the Metro area in his group Chamber Sound. Tom’s non musical interests are as varied and cool as his Colorado Symphony oboist wife Monica’s. He enjoys gardening, tennis, reading, and spending time with Monica and their two boys.
