Bradley Watson was born in Tucson, Arizona and began studying the violin at age two. Bradley attended the Meadowmount School of Music (Ivan Galamian) summer camp for two summers in high school before earning a Bachelor's in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music.

After graduating from Eastman, Bradley was a graduate teaching assistant and member of the graduate string quartet at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a graduate teaching assistant and member of the quartet in residence at San Francisco State University. His teachers include Catherine Tait, Peter Salaff, Syoko Aki, Charles Castleman, and Zoya Leybin.

Bradley’s quartet was selected to attend the Banff Chamber Music Festival in Alberta, Canada for two summers, as well as the Bravo! Vail summer festival for one summer.
