The Colorado Symphony will welcome four musicians to the ensemble for the 2019/20 Season. They are Seoyoen Min who joins the Colorado Symphony as the new Principal Cello, Chloe Hong who will serve as Assistant Principal Cello, Yue Sun as Section Violin, and Sofia Basile as Section Viola.

With a host of accolades to her name, Yumi Hwang-Williams adds yet another this year as she celebrates her 20^th Season as Concertmaster for the Colorado Symphony, having joined the orchestra in a full time capacity in 2000. Over the course of her tenure, Hwang-Williams has become a pillar in the Denver arts community, providing breathtaking artistry on stage, world-renowned training in the classroom, and consummate leadership for the organization.

Danny Elfman joined the Colorado Symphony for a discussion about “Eleven Eleven” for Violin and Orchestra, his first freestanding orchestral work, which makes its Colorado debut with the Colorado Symphony May 17-19 at Boettcher Concert Hall. 

Danny Elfman's “Eleven Eleven” for Violin and Orchestra makes its Colorado debut with the Colorado Symphony and violinist Sandy Cameron May 17-19, 2019 at Boettcher Concert Hall. This is Elfman's first freestanding orchestral work and has been described as Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev running into the groove of Beetlejuice.
