Danny Elfman joined the Colorado Symphony for a discussion about “Eleven Eleven” for Violin and Orchestra, his first freestanding orchestral work, which makes its Colorado debut with the Colorado Symphony May 17-19 at Boettcher Concert Hall. 

Danny Elfman's “Eleven Eleven” for Violin and Orchestra makes its Colorado debut with the Colorado Symphony and violinist Sandy Cameron May 17-19, 2019 at Boettcher Concert Hall. This is Elfman's first freestanding orchestral work and has been described as Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev running into the groove of Beetlejuice.

On June 1, 2019 at Boettcher Concert Hall, Steve Hackman conducts the Colorado Symphony premiere of Brahms V. Radiohead — his melding of Johannes Brahms' iconic First Symphony with Radiohead's seminal electro-rock album, OK Computer. The result is a collaboration over a century in the making.

Conceived in December of 2011, Women of Note has made a lasting impact on the Colorado Symphony by helping to fund the salary of one distinguished female musician each season. Women of Note members enjoy four exclusive luncheons and recitals at locations across Denver, while relishing the fellowship and community created by fellow music lovers.
