The Colorado Symphony is free to look for a new home on - or off - its current site at the DPAC following an agreement signed this week. 

Boettcher Concert Hall isn’t cutting it anymore, and the Colorado Symphony is officially looking to build a new home — potentially right next door at 1245 Champa St.

The Colorado Symphony has announced their execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Denver, to bring a brand new state-of-the-art symphony hall to the city.

The City of Denver and the Colorado Symphony have announced a "memorandum of understanding" regarding the status of Boettcher and the symphony's search for a permanent home which could signal the end of the concert hall in its current incarnation.

The Colorado Symphony and Denver officials have reached an agreement to keep the symphony in the city. The pact between them means officials will immediately start on plans to bring a new state-of-the-art performance hall to the DPAC while the Colorado Symphony will still be able to look outside the downtown arts center for a new venue — as long as it is still inside city limits.
