Elephant Revival will be playing with the Colorado Symphony, enriching their original tracks with a deep and layered melodic quality.

Three hand-picked Haiti Youth Orchestra students — siblings Peter and Fencia Clervoyant and David Marcellus — came to Denver to shadow and perform with members of the Colorado Symphony. 

Gregory Alan Isakov’s Jan. 13 concert date with the Colorado Symphony — which will feature work from the collaborative album released in June as well as the debut of several unreleased songs — sold out quickly. However, the symphony on Tuesday announced the addition of a second concert date: Thursday, Jan. 12. 

The Colorado Symphony sends music teachers to Haiti and also provies a unique experience for students in Colorado. The students got to sit by band members Friday night and will have a chance to play with the symphony before the MasterWorks series begins Saturday evening.

Colorado’s ever-expanding music scene is about to get a boost, as the Bohemian Foundation and Colorado Creative Industries have teamed up to create the Colorado Music Strategy, a partnership that will inject $200,000 into Colorado’s music industry in 2017.
