The album is, simply put, beautiful. Executed by the Colorado Symphony orchestra, the Colorado Symphony Chorus, and, on one track, The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, its 14 pieces evoke expansive vistas.

Seals will join Haynes and the Colorado Symphony when they play the legendary amphitheater on August 1, which would’ve been Garcia’s 74th birthday. The Celebration features an array of Garcia tunes, including those from the Grateful Dead, along with standards that were frequently in the late musician’s repertoire.

The duo took their show to another level as they performed with the CU Drumline and Colorado Symphony for much of the evening. They released a 4-minute recap of the unforgettable night that makes all of us wish we could have been there.
