The Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) announces that its endowment has exceeded its goals and reached over $88 million as of September 1, 2021. "This achievement is unprecedented in the Colorado performing arts community," said Jerome H. Kern, Emeritus Chair of the Board of Trustees. "This extraordinary news is the culmination of ten years of audience growth, strong fiscal management, and stellar artistic accomplishment."

The Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) announces the retirement of Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board, Jerome H. Kern as of September 2, 2021. His service with the Colorado Symphony Association has spanned more than twenty years, encompassing two separate terms, including the last eleven seasons stewarding the organization's leadership efforts. He will be honored as Emeritus Chair of the Board with special recognition at the September 18 opening weekend concerts.

The Mexican Cultural Center and the Colorado Symphony — celebrating 20 years of incredible collaborative partnerships — are thrilled to present the fifth annual “Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas” in partnership with the Biennial of the Americas on Thursday, September 23, 7:00 p.m., at Boettcher Concert Hall. This unique, free community concert celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, the cultural sounds of Latin music, and Latin culture's influence of sound in the Americas in a festive atmosphere.

Colorado Symphony Announces Free Access To Virtual Concerts And Curriculum; Reschedules Fall 2021 Youth Concerts For Spring 2022

The Colorado Symphony announces that it will provide free access to its virtual educational concerts and curriculum for the entire 2021-22 season. Free access to virtual concerts will include the Lift Every Voice Youth Concert, Sensory Friendly Concert, Petite Musique: The Three Little Pigs Concert, and The Story of Paul Bunyan. Free access will also include concert specific educational curriculum, digital story, and activity books for students. However, due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 health pandemic and with children 12 and under being ineligible for COVID-19 vaccination at this time, the Colorado Symphony has made the decision to postpone planned 2021 Youth Concerts at Boettcher Concert Hall with planned rescheduling for spring 2022.
