Colorado Symphony to Welcome Rufus Wainwright February 18, 2015

November 7, 2014 – DENVER – The Colorado Symphony is pleased to announce Rufus Wainwright will perform with the Colorado Symphony on February 18, 2015, at Boettcher Concert Hall. Showtime is 7:30 pm.
As a singer, songwriter, author, composer, and even screen actor (Scorsese’s The Aviator), Rufus Wainwright has carved out a singular place in the worlds of rock, opera, theater, dance, and film. Described by Elton John as “the greatest songwriter on the planet,” Wainwright is one of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation. Rufus Wainwright brings his incomparable voice to Boettcher Hall for a one-night-only performance with the Colorado Symphony.
