The Colorado Symphony is proud to announce DaVita as title sponsor and lead supporter of the Colorado Symphony and Denver7’s Independence Eve Virtual Concert and Independence Day Replay, in partnership with the Civic Center Conservancy and Community First Foundation. The broadcast virtual event features socially distanced performances by Colorado Symphony small ensembles, with featured partner performances from Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Colorado Ballet, Opera Colorado and more. The concert event encourages viewers to donate to one of six local charities affected by COVID-19.

The Colorado Symphony announces a special Independence Eve Virtual Concert & Independence Day replay titled "Together in Hope”. In partnership with Denver7, Civic Center Conservancy, Community First Foundation, and a prestigious collection of local Colorado performing arts organizations, this digital performance will air on Denver7 at 7:00 p.m. MST and stream on YouTube at 8:00 pm MST on July 3, with a replay performance streamed on YouTube at 7:00 p.m. MST on July 4.

The Colorado Symphony has partnered with Denver Botanic Gardens for a socially distanced alphorn duet of “Amazing Grace” featuring Colorado Symphony Principal Horn Michael Thornton and Matthew Eckenhoff in commemoration of Make Music Day. The performance took place in the Gardens' picturesque Mordecai Children's Garden, that remains closed to the public. The main gardens recently reopened after an extended closure as Colorado dealt with restrictions following the outbreak of COVID-19. 

Colorado Symphony Reschedules July 2020 Performances of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ Part 2 In Concert for Summer 2021

Tickets for the originally scheduled 2020 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 shows will be honored for 2021 reschedule dates

As the presenters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ Part 2 in Concert at Boettcher Concert Hall, the Colorado Symphony Association is committed to the safety and peace of mind of all audiences, orchestra members, and venue staff.  As such, in line with the latest mandates from the State of Colorado and City and County of Denver, we regrettably must reschedule the three performances of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ Part 2 in Concert at Boettcher Concert Hall scheduled to take place July 17-19, 2020. These performances will be rescheduled for  Friday, July 16, 2021, Saturday, July 17, 2021, and Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Colorado Symphony Extends Postponement Timeframe For Performances Through May 31, 2020

On account credit available for all concerts through December 31, 2020

The Colorado Symphony Association regretfully announces the postponement of remaining 2019/20 Season concerts and events through May 31, 2020, in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All ticketholders will be notified directly of the postponement via email and offered a variety of options concerning their tickets. These postponements align with the City and County of Denver in compliance with the revised CDC guidelines that promote social distancing for the foreseeable future. There is still no confirmed date for when and how we may resume operations as an institution; however, the musicians and staff are working diligently to identify creative solutions to keep our audiences and community engaged.
