The Colorado Symphony will bring the music of Ludwig van Beethoven to communities throughout the Centennial State as part of the Beethoven 2020 Statewide Celebration commemorating Beethoven’s 250^th birthday. This yearlong event will celebrate Beethoven’s unmatched brilliance with over two dozen performances in Boettcher Concert Hall and across Colorado, bringing the full orchestra and chamber ensembles to underserved communities in the state where access to live symphonic music is often difficult or impossible to realize

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Boettcher Concert Hall with your Colorado Symphony performing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2 in Concert, the final chapter in the Harry Potter series. On Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., the Colorado Symphony will perform Alexandre Desplat’s GRAMMY® nominated score from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 while the film plays on four high-definition 40-foot screens. 

The Colorado Symphony announces the next two installments of their Beethoven and Brews series at River North Brewery on February 12 at 6:30 p.m. and the Farm House at Breckenridge Brewery on March 18 at 6:30 p.m. A fan favorite since debuting in 2015, the Beethoven and Brews series pairs delicious beer with great music in an intimate venue for an unforgettable and homegrown front-range experience. This will be the first Beethoven and Brews event at each venue. 

Due to overwhelming popular demand, the Colorado Symphony has announced a second performance of the Music of Queen taking place Friday, March 13, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at Boettcher Concert Hall. The Colorado Symphony previously announced a single performance of the Music of Queen for March 14, 2020. 

The Colorado Symphony and AEG Presents Rocky Mountains announce the Colorado Symphony & Chorus performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. This performance is the latest announce in the Colorado Symphony’s Beethoven 2020 year-long celebratory initiative featuring performances in Boettcher Concert Hall and across Colorado throughout 2020 in celebration of Beethoven’s 250^th birthday. Music Director Brett Mitchell will be joined by four vocal soloists and a massive community chorus made up of the Colorado Symphony Chorus and other choruses from around the state.
