The Colorado Symphony and AEG Presents Rocky Mountains announce the Colorado Symphony & Chorus performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. This performance is the latest announce in the Colorado Symphony’s Beethoven 2020 year-long celebratory initiative featuring performances in Boettcher Concert Hall and across Colorado throughout 2020 in celebration of Beethoven’s 250^th birthday. Music Director Brett Mitchell will be joined by four vocal soloists and a massive community chorus made up of the Colorado Symphony Chorus and other choruses from around the state.

The Colorado Symphony will Rock You March 14, 2020 with the Music of Queen at Boettcher Concert Hall. In the decade of super groups – and four decades beyond – Queen reigns supreme. Celebrate the immortal music of Queen as Brody Dolyniuk and his rock band join your Colorado Symphony for an unforgettable evening. The Music of Queen soars with songs from the albums Classic Queen, A Night at the Opera, Sheer Heart Attack, Jazz, News of the World, A Kind of Magic, The Works and many more. 

Presented in partnership with Denver Arts & Venues, Latin GRAMMY Award^® winner composer/bassist Pedro Giraudo and his quartet join the Colorado Symphony for two evenings of spectacular music in April 2020. The first will take place Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Boettcher Concert Hall with the Colorado Symphony while the second will occur Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Studio Loft at Ellie Caulkins Opera House with members of the Colorado Symphony. 

The Colorado Symphony has announced repertoire for a trio of holiday concerts for the 2019/20 concert season: A Classical Christmas, A Night in Vienna, and A Symphonic Valentine. 

The Order Of Nature, the highly anticipated collaboration from acclaimed genre-bending solo artist Jim James, composer/conductor/music director Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra was released today via Decca Gold. The composition will be performed live at Boettcher Concert Hall on May 15, 2020 along with James, Abrams, and the Colorado Symphony.
