The Colorado Symphony Association regretfully announces the postponement of remaining 2019/20 Season concerts and events through May 31, 2020, in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All ticketholders will be notified directly of the postponement via email and offered a variety of options concerning their tickets. These postponements align with the City and County of Denver in compliance with the revised CDC guidelines that promote social distancing for the foreseeable future. There is still no confirmed date for when and how we may resume operations as an institution; however, the musicians and staff are working diligently to identify creative solutions to keep our audiences and community engaged.

Watch & Learn! Expanding on our weekly Virtual Music Hour, the Colorado Symphony invites families to #PlayOn with the MusiCurious Instrument Interview Series. Specially designed for the young and young at heart, this series explores the wonders of the orchestra through video demonstrations featuring Colorado Symphony musicians that are perfect for audiences of all ages. The MusiCurious Instrument Interview videos will be released bi-weekly and will be available at ColoradoSymphony.org. Stay tuned for updates and subscribe to the Colorado Symphony eNotes for the upcoming Instrument Interview schedule.

The Colorado Symphony announces a pair of summer 2020 performances at the Arvada Center Outdoor Amphitheatre beginning July 11 with the Music of John Williams and the Movies. And on August 2, enjoy the next installment of the Beethoven 2020 celebration with a performance of his First Symphony.

Announcing the Colorado Symphony’s #PlayOn Virtual Music Hour, a weekly streaming event featuring past Colorado Symphony performances that are enjoyable from the comfort of home. The stream will be available each Friday at ColoradoSymphony.org and includes an introduction from Colorado Symphony musicians and conductors, followed by the replay of a long form classical work and fun activities to dive even further into the music. Stay tuned each week and subscribe to the Colorado Symphony eNotes for the upcoming concert replay schedule.
