The Colorado Symphony has announced a date change for the third annual Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Américas. Originally scheduled for September 26, the event will now take place at Boettcher Concert Hall on September 25, 2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

In homage to the “Queen of Tejano Music,” the Colorado Symphony under the direction of resident conductor Christopher Dragon and in partnership with the Mexican Cultural Center, brings the iconic music of Selena Quintanilla to life in a way audiences have never heard it before: backed by a full, world-class symphony orchestra and featuring sensational soloist Isabel Sánchez at Boettcher Concert Hall on October 12, 2019.

Dragon named music director of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra; also appointed resident conductor of Colorado Symphony

Colorado Symphony Associate Conductor Christopher Dragon has accepted two new appointments beginning in the 2019/20 Season. In an announcement today, Dragon was named music director of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra located in Casper, WY. In addition, Dragon has been named resident conductor for the Colorado Symphony, a role he will serve for the next two seasons.
