The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Boettcher Concert Hall with your Colorado Symphony performing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallowsth – Part 1 in Concert, the second to last film in the Harry Potter series. On Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., the Colorado Symphony will perform Alexandre Desplat’s magical score from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallowsth – Part 1 while the film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

The Colorado Symphony has announced its 2019/20 Season taking place at downtown Denver's Boettcher Concert Hall. This remarkable season is overflowing with incredible programming, renowned guest artists, and revered symphonic works, featuring 49 titles and 92 total events to-date. Brett Mitchell's third season as music director offers numerous reasons to celebrate including the 35th anniversary of the Colorado Symphony Chorus, Yumi Hwang-Williams’ 20th season as Concertmaster, and Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020.

The Colorado Symphony announces a Lunar Landing 50th Anniversary Celebration, taking place July 20, 2019 at Boettcher Concert Hall. Music Director Brett Mitchell will conduct the cosmic performance with music from the legendary John Williams — including selections from his unforgettable scores for E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Star Wars — as well as contemporary American composers Mason Bates and James Beckel.

Two of Bates’ works will be performed and recorded live this weekend along with Beethoven’s 7th Symphony

Led by Music Director Brett Mitchell, the Colorado Symphony’s March 1-3 performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 will open with a pair of pieces by GRAMMY winner Mason Bates which will be recorded for future release under the Colorado Symphony’s recording label.
