
Kunjing Dai

Violist Kunjing Dai, originally from Anhui, China, is currently a doctoral student at the Bienen School of Music. She holds a Bachelor of Music in viola performance from the Juilliard School and a Master of Music from Rice University. Kunjing is a devoted chamber and orchestral player and has recently appeared at festivals such as the Tanglewood Music Center, the Bowdoin Fellowship Program, and the Garth Newel Music Center Fellowship Program. She worked at the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before joining the Colorado Symphony. As a dedicated solo player, she has attended masterclasses offered by Roberto Díaz, Paul Silverthorne, and many others. Kunjing’s music passions have also taken her on a journey of teaching, contemporary music exploring, as well as art management.
