A Colorado Christmas
Description
The warm sounds of the holidays fill the Hall with festive seasonal favorites performed by your Colorado Symphony and hosted by beloved Denver vocalist, Devin DeSantis. This family-friendly concert includes traditional Christmas carols, your new favorite winter tunes, and a chance to sing along to your heart’s content! We’ll pay special tribute to the 100th anniversary of the publication of the iconic poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” And you better not pout because Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to see who’s naughty and who’s nice in preparation for the big night!
Our 2023 Colorado Christmas celebration brings special anniversaries for all three of our performing groups: Colorado Symphony Chorus (40th Anniversary), Colorado Children’s Chorale (50th Anniversary) and the Colorado Symphony (100th Anniversary). To make these anniversaries particularly meaningful, we have created a brand new piece to salute the celebration: CHRISTMAS ON TOP OF THE WORLD. All three performing groups will be featured in this original piece devised by Gary Fry and Duain Wolfe. Join the anniversary celebrations with our very own Ode to Joy!
