Izabel Zambrzycki (she/her) is an accomplished arts administrator with a proven track record of success in the orchestral industry. Currently serving as the Artistic General Manager for the Colorado Symphony, she leads the institution’s artistic planning process, managing day-to-day operations and providing strategic leadership for a dynamic team. With a Master’s in Arts Administration and a Bachelor’s in Flute Performance, Izabel brings a unique blend of artistic sensibility and managerial expertise to her roles.
During her tenure with the Colorado Symphony, Izabel has overseen all programming and operations, including a diverse range of performances presented across Colorado. She works closely with the musicians, conductor, and artists to craft programming that serves the entire state of Colorado.
Prior to her current role, Izabel served as the Senior Artistic Planning Manager and Assistant to the Music Director at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, where she played a pivotal role in the formation of the BSO’s New Music Festival and maintained a close working relationship with Marin Alsop, former Music Director of the Colorado Symphony.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Izabel enjoys the challenges of CrossFit, where she is both a coach and an athlete. She is also an avid reader and enjoys taking walks with her doggo, Bartok. (Yes, named after the composer!)
