Every season, the Community Education Department of the Colorado Symphony hosts Open Rehearsals that offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the artistic process. These sessions invite attendees to observe professional musicians at work as they collaborate, refine repertoire, and receive guidance from world-class conductors.
We are pleased to offer a special, private Open Rehearsal exclusively for university students and faculty. This event features internationally renowned conductor Marin Alsop leading the orchestra in a dynamic program including:
GABRIELA ORTIZ — Antrópolis
GABRIELA MONTERO — Piano Concerto No. 1, “Latin” Concerto*
featuring Gabriela Montero, piano
NIKOLAI RIMSKY-KORSAKOV — Scheherazade
