Thomas Hanulik

Thomas Hanulik (he/him) has been a member of the Colorado Symphony violin section since 1985. Prior to joining the Colorado Symphony, he earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School of Music, where he studied with Christine Dethier, Ivan Galamian, and Joseph Fuchs.
Thomas has performed with the festivals of Tanglewood, Strings in the Mountains, and Crested Butte, as well as small ensemble performances with Colorado Symphony colleagues throughout the Metro area in his group Chamber Sound. In 1989 and 1990, Thomas performed in the Summergarden Chamber Series at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, which culminated in performances of the complete Bartók quartet cycle. Tom’s non-musical interests include gardening, tennis, reading, and spending time with his wife Monica and their two boys.
