Bass Trombonist Gregory Harper has been a member of the Colorado Symphony since 1997. In addition to the Symphony, he is also Assistant Professor of Trombone at Colorado State University and Adjunct Professor of Trombone at Colorado Christian University.

A native of Massachusetts he began his musical training at age 10. He holds degrees from Rice University’s “Shepherd School of Music” as well as the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In addition to the Symphony, he is also Assistant Professor of Trombone at Colorado State University in Ft.Collins, CO and Adjunct Professor of Trombone at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO. Most recently Greg was a featured Faculty Artist and Wind Ensemble Director at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival held in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Greg is currently an Artist for the S.E.Shires Trombone Company. When not performing or teaching Greg enjoys spending time with his family as well as a few hobbies which include custom jewelry design, and carpentry.
