John Hilton

John Hilton joined the Colorado Symphony in 2011 after spending three years as the Associate Concertmaster of the Louisiana Philharmonic.
John is a Colorado native who grew up studying with James Maurer and playing in the Denver Young Artists Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree cum laude from Lawrence University, as well as Doctorate of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His teachers have included Anne Shih, Georgios Demertzis and Ed Dusinberre.
