Principal Bassoon

  • Principal Bassoon of the Colorado Symphony since January 2026.

Quincey Trojanowski received her Master’s Degree in Bassoon Performance from Rice University with Ben Kamins in May of 2025, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Bassoon Performance at the University of Texas at Austin with Kristin Wolfe Jensen in May 2023. In January 2025, Quincey joined the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra as their 2nd bassoonist, and in January 2026, she joined the Colorado Symphony as their principal bassoonist.

Originally from the Chicago area, Quincey is an alumna of the Merit School of Music and the Chicago Youth Symphony. Quincey has also played with the Chicago Symphony, Houston Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, and the San Antonio Philharmonic.
