The Colorado Symphony announces the 2022 Colorado Symphony Imagination Gala, to be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Denver’s Mission Ballroom. The Colorado Symphony has announced repertoire for Come Fly with Me: The Great American Songbook Tribute taking place at Boettcher Concert Hall on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Broadway brass meets old school class in a fresh take on songbook classics with award-winning vocalists Tony DeSare and Capathia Jenkins. Featured songs made famous by celebrities like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra include: “This Could Be the Start of Something Big,” “Love Is Here to Stay,” “Come Fly With Me,” “Hallelujah I Love Him So,” ”Night and Day,” “The Lady Is A Tramp,” “A-Tisket, A-Tasket,” “New York, New York,” and more. 

Colorado Symphony Announces Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 In Concert

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Boettcher Concert Hall with your Colorado Symphony performing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2 in Concert, the final chapter in the Harry Potter series. On Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., the Colorado Symphony will perform Alexandre Desplat's GRAMMY® nominated score from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 live while the film plays on four high-definition 40-foot screens. 

Colorado Symphony Cancels Danny Elfman’s Percussion and Piano Quartets

The Colorado Symphony has cancelled their January 12, 2022 performance of Danny Elfman’s Percussion and Piano Quartets at Boettcher Concert Hall. Full refunds will be made available for tickets previously purchased for Danny Elfman’s Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet and Danny Elfman’s Percussion and Piano Quartets. To receive a refund, please contact the Colorado Symphony Box Office at 303.623.7876.

Announcing Ben Folds “In Actual Person Live For Real Tour” with your Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall on April 23, 2022. The performance is a continuation of his “In Actual Person Live For Real Tour” of US solo piano and orchestral performances for 2022. Folds, who spent much of 2020 and early 2021 in isolation in Australia because of COVID-19 lockdowns, returned to US stages in the Fall of 2021 to numerous sold-out performances. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Colorado Symphony Reschedules Warner Bros. Presents Bugs Bunny At The Symphony

The Colorado Symphony announces the rescheduling of Warner Bros. Presents Bugs Bunny At The Symphony, which had been scheduled to take place at Boettcher Concert Hall on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 2:30pm and 6:00pm. These performances will be rescheduled for the dates listed below and tickets for the previously scheduled dates will be honored for these rescheduled dates: Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.  and Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets previously purchased for the 7:30pm performance on April 23, 2022 will be honored for the 7:30pm performance on October 8, 2022. Tickets previously purchased for the 2:30pm performance on April 23, 2022 will be honored for the 2:30pm performance on October 9, 2022. 

Colorado Symphony Announces Program Change For Danny Elfman’s Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet

The Berlin Philharmonic has announced the postponement of their January U.S. tour and will be unable to perform the scheduled January 12, 2022 concert of Danny Elfman’s Piano Quartet at Boettcher Concert Hall. The concert will proceed with musicians of the Colorado Symphony in a program now titled, “Danny Elfman’s Percussion and Piano Quartets”. Tickets previously purchased for Danny Elfman’s Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet will be honored for Danny Elfman’s Percussion and Piano Quartets. Colorado Symphony To Unveil Charles Burrell Portrait At Boettcher Concert Hall

The Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) will unveil a portrait of trailblazing double bassist Charles “Charlie” Burrell in a ceremony at Boettcher Concert Hall on December 4, 2021. The unveiling will take place at 7:00pm in the Boettcher Concert Hall lobby, prior to the Colorado Symphony’s performance that evening, featuring Elgar’s Enigma Variations and Eduard Tubin’s Double Bass Concerto featuring Colorado Symphony principal bass Steve Metcalf.
