“Denver’s Mayor took part in reheasal for a cultural collaboration; two of Denver’s artistic institutions coming together for one unforgettable performance. So, we’re talking about Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and the Colorado Symphony performing “The Firebird”. Joining us now is the legend herself, Cleo Parker Robinson, the founder and artistic director of course, of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. And we have Anthony Pierce, Chief Artistic Officer of the Colorado Symphony.”
Cleo: “We are thrilled to be back with the Colorado Symphony. You know, we started many years ago, but our Firebird is so unique that we’ve never done it with anyone else!”
Anthony: “Putting dance on stage with the orchestra, you know, Boettcher is a big stage, but it’s a lot of artists on one stage. I mean, it’ll be more than 100 people on stage. The way we utilize the space on and off the stage is such an interesting approach and a different way to just experience the hall”
“So it sounds like it’s going to be a magical, magical performance!”
