Colorado Symphony Announces Five New Acoustic on the Rocks Performances Featuring Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons

COLORADO SYMPHONY ANNOUNCES FIVE NEW ACOUSTIC ON THE ROCKS PERFORMANCES
FEATURING VIVALDI’S THE FOUR SEASONS 

The Colorado Symphony returns to Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre September 9-13 for five performances featuring the Colorado Symphony Strings 

Aug. 21, 2020 – Denver, CO – Your Colorado Symphony announces five new Acoustic on the Rocks performances of a Colorado favorite, Vivaldi’s enrapturing The Four Seasons, live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre from September 9-13, 2020. Resident Conductor Christopher Dragon leads an evening featuring the Colorado Symphony strings and soloists Yumi Hwang-Williams, Claude Sim, Yi Zhao, and Dmitri Pogorelov for an incredible acoustic event under the stars at Colorado’s most iconic outdoor music venue.

Each of these programs will be 75 minutes in length and will not have an intermission. Total ticket sales will be limited to each performance and audiences will be seated in a socially distanced setup throughout the Amphitheatre seating bowl. Households will be allowed to sit together, and must adhere to Red Rocks Amphitheatre event attendance guidelines, including the following:

  • Facial coverings are required to be worn by all patrons in order to enter the venue and are required to be worn while moving throughout the venue in a socially distanced manner.
  • Physical distancing of at least six feet is required between disassociated groups from the time of arrival until departure.
  • If you are feeling sick do not attend the concert.
  • Ticket purchase information may be used for contact tracing in the event it is needed for your safety.

The Acoustic on the Rocks series debuted July 29 – August 2 in the first live performances at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre since the onset of COVID-19. The series returned by popular demand with 10 encore performances from August 12 – 16, and August 19-23, 2020. All 15 concerts sold out in just a few hours.
