COLORADO SYMPHONY ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF BEETHOVEN AND BREWS TO BLUE MOON BREWING COMPANY – RINO

Brett Mitchell leads the Colorado Symphony in performances of two Beethoven Overtures and more on October 10, 2018

 

July 9, 2018 – Denver, CO – The Colorado Symphony announces the next installment in their Beethoven and Brews series with Music Director Brett Mitchell conducting the Colorado Symphony in a performance featuring two of Ludwig van Beethoven’s most beloved Overtures at Blue Moon Brewing CompanyRiNo. Cellist Judith McIntyre performs as featured soloist on Elgar’s Sospiri and the ensemble rounds out the evening with works by Falla and Kodaly. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

 

A fan favorite since debuting in 2015, the Beethoven and Brews series pairs delicious beer with great music for an unforgettable and homegrown front-range experience. This will be the second Beethoven and Brews event at Blue Moon Brewing Company – RiNo, following an unforgettable performance of Beethoven Symphony No. 1 on March 7, 2018.

 

“The orchestra and I are so excited to bring Beethoven and Brews back to Blue Moon for another night of incredible music and beer,” says Music Director Brett Mitchell. “One of the coolest things about playing at Blue Moon is that the atmosphere is really intimate, which helps us break down the wall between us and our audience. We can’t wait to share this fantastic music (and beer) with everyone on October 10!”

 

As part of the festivities, Blue Moon Brewing CompanyRiNo will unveil a special Beethoven-themed beer during the event. Tickets for the event will include two pints of beer from Blue Moon’s extensive tap listing, light hors d’oeuvres, and standing room during the performance. Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

 

VIP package tickets will also be available and will include an exclusive, specialty tasting at Blue Moon’s private bar, a behind-the-scenes brewery tour, custom Blue Moon glassware, a Colorado Symphony ticket voucher, and VIP seating for the performance.

 

The festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. with the concert scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. All seating will be general admission with tickets available at the Boettcher Concert Hall Box Office or online at coloradosymphony.org beginning July 13 at 8:00 a.m. Online sales will stop at 5:30 p.m. the day before the event. If not sold out, general admission tickets will be available at the door for $65 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Standard ticket prices are $50 while VIP tickets are $80.
