COLORADO SYMPHONY CANCELS CONCERTS THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020 DUE TO COVID-19
On account credit available for all cancelled concerts through June 30, 2021
Sept. 1, 2020 – Denver, CO – The Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) regretfully announces the cancellation of all November and December 2020 concert titles due to the COVID-19 virus. All ticketholders will be notified directly of the cancellations via email and offered a variety of options concerning their tickets.
These cancellations align with the City and County of Denver in compliance with the revised CDC guidelines that promote social distancing for the foreseeable future. They are also consistent with the Safer at Home, Level 2 phase from Colorado Governor Jared Polis.
In addition, the date to purchase single tickets for the remainder of the 2020/21 Season will be moved to December 31, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.
The CSA is committed to continue bringing limited-capacity, socially distanced concerts like the successful sold-out Acoustic on the Rocks series performances to our community for as long as possible. We are grateful to have partnered with the Denver Botanic Gardens and Denver Arts and Venues to successfully program and execute nearly thirty live, in-person concert events during the pandemic. Along with our trustees and philanthropic partners, we will continue to navigate these challenging days with an unshakable commitment to create as many extraordinary live and digital musical experiences for Coloradoans as restrictions for public health and safety allow.

September 18-20: Beethoven Symphony No. 5 with Olga Kern – CANCELLED
September 24: Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Américas – CANCELLED
September 26: The Doo-Wop Project – CANCELLED
October 2-4: Shostakovich Symphony No. 5 – CANCELLED
October 10-11: Alpine Opus – A Symphonic Ski Film – CANCELLED
October 16-18: Barber Adagio for Strings – CANCELLED
October 24-25: Disney Pixars Coco in Concert – CANCELLED
October 30: Cleo Parker Robinson 50th Anniversary Celebration with your Colorado Symphony – CANCELLED
October 31: Halloween Spooktacular! – CANCELLED
November 6-8: Wonderbound Dances Beethoven – CANCELLED
November 12: Vienna Boys Choir in Concert – CANCELLED
November 13: Dancing Queen: A Tribute to Abba – CANCELLED
November 20-22: Rachmaninoff Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with Joyce Yang – CANCELLED
November 25 & 27: Disney’s A Mupet Christmas Carol in Concert – CANCELLED

November 29: The Ten Tenors Home For The Holidays – CANCELLED
December 4-6: All Beethoven – Symphony No. 5 – CANCELLED
December 7: Celtic Women – The Best of Christmas Tour – CANCELLED
December 11-13: A Colorado Christmas – CANCELLED
December 16: Beethoven 250 – CANCELLED
December 18: A Very DeVotchKa Holiday – CANCELLED
December 19-20: Too Hot To Handel – CANCELLED
December 23: Holiday Brass – CANCELLED
December 31: A Night In Vienna – CANCELLED
The following options are available for ticketholders of cancelled events:
- Donate your ticket(s) and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value to keep your Colorado Symphony strong during this difficult time.
- Exchange your ticket(s) from the above performance(s) into future events through June 30, 2021. All exchange fees will be waived in this situation.
- Exchange your ticket(s) for on account credit, which can be used for events through June 30, 2021. All exchange fees will be waived in this situation.
- Request a refund of the ticket purchase cost and City Seat Tax. Service fees will not be refunded as they are used for technology, processing, and staffing.
If no action is taken by October 16, 2020 tickets for cancelled events will automatically become on-account credit, which may be used for future Colorado Symphony Boettcher Concert Hall performances through June 30, 2021. Unclaimed credit at that time will become an automatic tax-deductible donation. Ticket purchase fees will not be refunded as they are used for technology, processing, and staffing.

The Colorado Symphony remains in communication with our internal teams, peer organizations, Denver Arts and Venues, the State of Colorado, and the City and Country of Denver to stay on top of this rapidly changing situation. We will continue to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and local health authorities including the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE). Updates to each event status will be conveyed via email as more information becomes available. This web page will also be updated regularly with any changes.
