COLORADO SYMPHONY OFFERS “A GIFT OF MUSIC” TO FEDERAL EMPLOYEES DURING GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

Complimentary tickets available for select November performances as a gesture of gratitude and community support.

Nov. 5, 2025 – Denver, CO – In a gesture of gratitude and community support, the Colorado Symphony is pleased to offer complimentary tickets to federal employees and one guest during the government shutdown. This initiative invites those affected by the shutdown to experience the joy, inspiration, and connection that only live symphonic music can provide.

Eligible federal employees may choose from two November performances at Boettcher Concert Hall:

• Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 with Paul Huang — November 7–9

• The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires with Kerson Leong & Brahms’ Second — November 21–23

Tickets can be reserved online at coloradosymphony.org using code GOV25 or by calling the Colorado Symphony Box Office at (303) 623-7876. Complimentary tickets will be available for pickup at Will Call upon presentation of a valid federal employee ID to a Patron Services representative.

“Even in challenging times, music has the power to unite and uplift us,” said Daniel Wachter, President & CEO of the Colorado Symphony. “We hope this small gesture offers a moment of comfort and connection for those who serve our country.”

If interested in speaking with Daniel Wachter, he will be on hand to meet with media in attendance on November 8 and 9 as well as November 21. For complementary tickets, please contact Nick Dobreff at ndobreff@coloradosymphony.org.
