COLORADO SYMPHONY UNVEILS A VIRTUAL COLORADO CHRISTMAS ON THE VIRTUAL STAGE
Featuring Denver vocalist Devin Desantis, this virtual performance will be available December 18

Dec. 1, 2020 – Denver, CO – The Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) is pleased to announce A Virtual Colorado Christmas on the Virtual Stage, the latest content release through the Colorado Symphony’s on demand digital video gateway, available on ColoradoSymphony.org.

Despite being unable to gather as in year’s past, the CSA remains determined to bring the warm sounds of the holidays from our home to yours. This performance fills Boettcher Concert Hall with festive seasonal favorites including ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, narrated from stage by beloved Denver vocalist Devin DeSantis. This family-friendly virtual program is suitable for all ages and is conducted by Taylor Martin and features the Colorado Symphony, Colorado Symphony Chorus, and Colorado Children’s Chorale, performing traditional Christmas carols, favorite new winter tunes, and even some newly arranged surprises.

This virtual event will debut on Colorado Symphony Virtual Stage on December 18 and is accessible for $15 through ColoradoSymphony.org throughout the holiday season.

This concert and all content through Virtual Stage will support the continued operations of the Colorado Symphony Association as they navigate the limitations presented by the continued spread of COVID-19.

This announcement is simply the latest example of how the Colorado Symphony has met the moment with a steadfast commitment to play on despite ongoing health and safety restrictions that severely limit the ability to perform live with an audience.

To support these commitments to community and education, the CSA is focusing heavily on their Play On Recovery Fund, which supports continued operations through the end of 2020.
