The Boettcher Concert Hall could be getting a makeover and a name change. A city council committee signed off on the proposal this week. It would be the concert hall’s first major upgrade in almost 50 years at a price tag of more than $100 million to help cover the cost.

The city says the concert hall operators can go look for naming rights partners for the building and several amenities, but there is one rule they can’t sell naming rights to any liquor, tobacco, or marijuana companies.
