Free event open to the public reveals uniform for first season of National Women’s Soccer League expansion franchise
DENVER — Denver Summit FC unveiled the team’s first-ever kit on Monday morning at Union Station in a free event open to the public. For the soccer newbies in town, that’s the players’ jersey.
The club’s debut Nike uniform is green with the club’s crest over players’ hearts, and a blue striping woven into the neckline, sleeves and shorts. The club is calling this primary kit a “love letter to Colorado.”
“When players step onto the pitch in this kit, they do so not just as individuals, but as ambassadors of the community, carrying Denver’s grit, diversity, and unwavering spirit into every match,” the club said in its Monday morning announcement.
Players Ally Brazier and Kaleigh Kurtz, as well as Controlling Owner Rob Cohen revealed the inaugural Evergreen kit. They were joined by a performance from the Colorado Symphony.
