“NEXT STOP DENVER” MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERES: A CELEBRATION OF DENVER’S CULTURE, COMMUNITY, AND CREATIVITY
Song was originally written and performed at the Colorado Symphony’s 2024/25 Youth Concerts
Feb. 14, 2025 – In a powerful fusion of music, community, and culture, the Colorado Symphony, Denver-based hip hop artist Chinelo “Nelo” Tyler, and Wayne Watts proudly announce the release of the “Next Stop Denver” music video. Produced by Siah Rain’n and directed by Brooklen McCarty, the video captures the spirit of Denver’s vibrant neighborhoods and celebrates local artistry.
The music video is a companion piece to the Colorado Symphony’s 2024/25 Youth Concert Series – titled Destination Denver – where the piece was debuted by Nelo and Wayne Watts as featured performers. Each year, thousands of students experience captivating concerts at Boettcher Concert Hall, many for the first time. This year’s concerts offered students a musical tour of the Mile High City, highlighting Denver’s rich and diverse cultural traditions.
The “Next Stop Denver” music video goes beyond the concert hall, spotlighting performances and uplifting local BIPOC-owned businesses and cherished community landmarks. With stunning visuals and an empowering soundtrack, the video highlights the heartbeat of Denver through the lens of its people, music, and creativity.
Join Nelo, Wayne Watts, and the Colorado Symphony as they invite you to experience the rhythm and culture of Denver with the premiere of “Next Stop Denver.” For more information on the Colorado Symphony’s Youth Concerts and Community Education programs, visit coloradosymphony.org or email musicurious@coloradosymphony.org.
