Amanda Gomez (she/her) is a dedicated fundraising professional with over a decade of experience in non-profit arts administration. She has extensive experience in orchestrating successful development strategies and managing donor relationships within the performing arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Individual Giving at the Colorado Symphony, Amanda has established and executed short and long-term contributed revenue goals for Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Annual Fund, and Special Events. Her leadership of a cohesive Major Giving Program has significantly enhanced the Symphony’s endowment, programmatic initiatives, and general operating support.
In this role, Amanda manages a diverse portfolio of individual donors capable of making significant contributions to the Colorado Symphony. She leads a talented team consisting of the Associate Director of Individual Giving, Senior Development Operations Manager, Events and Membership Manager, and Development Coordinator. Through strategic planning and meticulous execution, Amanda has significantly increased campaign revenues, demonstrating a keen ability to drive philanthropic growth and optimize fundraising outcomes.
Amanda holds a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, with a concentration in Arts Administration from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She also earned a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, complemented by a minor in Business Administration from the Herbert Business School.
