Breanna McCaughey (she/her) is passionate about music education and community engagement. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she studied under Alice Dade, Brian Silvey, and Wendy Sims. She has presented at the Colorado Music Educators Association and Colorado State University on the importance of diversifying curriculum and instruction through community and cultural resources. Previously, she was the Education and Community Engagement Associate for the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestra Manager for the Greater Boulder Youth Orchestras. In addition to her role as Director of Community Education at the Colorado Symphony, she also serves as a board member for the Alliance for Music Education Equity and as an advisory board member of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra.  Breanna is committed to bringing communities together through symphonic music.
