Tori Seaver (she/her) joined the Colorado Symphony as the Digital Marketing Manager in 2022 after starting her career in Madison, WI. Prior to moving to Denver, Tori worked with both of the main classical music organizations in Madison; first as the Marketing Associate for the Madison Symphony Orchestra before taking on the role of Campaign Manager with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
Tori’s passion for music was fostered from a young age. She started playing piano at five years old and briefly took violin lessons before later learning oboe at the recommendation of her middle school music teacher. She quickly fell in love with the challenge of the instrument and was a member of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2013-2015, and toured with WYSO throughout Argentina in Summer 2014. Tori attributes her continued love for music to both her high school oboe teacher, Laura Medisky, and her experiences as a member of WYSO’s Youth orchestra.
After growing up in Madison, Tori attended college at the University of Tulsa where she received a full-tuition oboe scholarship. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a certificate in International Studies and minors in Spanish and Anthropology. She conducted research within the anthropology department throughout her undergraduate years and was awarded multiple grants to support and present her research. Tori also took advantage of the University of Tulsa’s international programs and studied abroad for a semester at University College Dublin in Ireland and participated in two extension courses in Lyon, France and Milan, Italy.
In 2020, Tori was accepted into the inaugural Master of Arts-Business: Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Bolz Center for Arts Administration within the Wisconsin School of Business. Tori is proud to have followed in her father’s footsteps as a Badger and is thrilled to be a Bolzie!
Outside of work, Tori enjoys reading, crocheting, spending time with her dog, exploring Colorado, and listening to true crime podcasts.
