Hitomi Sipher

Assistant Librarian

  • Formerly served as librarian of the Virginia Symphony, YOA Orchestra of Americas, Metropolitan Opera, Grant Park Music Festival, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Hitomi (she/her) was born in Tokyo and began learning piano at the age of five. She moved to Chicago to learn music and music business at the Roosevelt University in 1999. 

She joined the Colorado Symphony as the Assistant Librarian in 2018. She has served as librarian for the Virginia Symphony, YOA Orchestra of Americas, Metropolitan Opera, Grant Park Music Festival, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Hitomi enjoys running in the morning. Also she loves hiking and camping with her family.
