Autumn Stolle

Community Education Coordinator

  • Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Kentucky University
  • Formerly worked for the Grant Park Music Festival and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Negaunee Music Institute

Autumn Marie Stolle (she/her) joined the Colorado Symphony as the Community Education Coordinator in January of 2025. She began her career in arts administration in Chicago, IL, at the Grant Park Music Festival. Following that, she pursued her passion for music education and community engagement at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Negaunee Music Institute. Her curiosity about arts administration practices and other art forms led her to explore beyond orchestral music, spending a season with the Chicago International Film Festival and another with the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY.

Autumn’s musical journey began at age 8 when she convinced her parents to sign her up for fiddle lessons at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum in her hometown of Owensboro, KY. Her early music-making experiences were steeped in the bluegrass tradition of building community and connection, leaving a lasting impression. Later in childhood, she joined Owensboro Public Schools’ orchestras and choirs through middle and high school, marking her introduction to classical music, and solidifying her passion for all music genres.

After continuing her music studies throughout her childhood, both as a fiddler, violinist and vocalist, she then earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Kentucky University as a first-generation college student. Her career has taken her to exciting places and organizations, and she attributes her success to the transformational power of music. Now, as the Community Education Coordinator for the Colorado Symphony, she is thrilled to contribute to educational programs and community engagement initiatives.

Outside of work, Autumn enjoys reading, cooking, writing, going to lots of concerts, making Spotify playlists, and doting on her adorable cat, Bonnie.
