Daniel Wachter is a seasoned global executive and transformative business leader with deep expertise across the packaging, specialty chemicals, and consumer goods industries. Known for embracing innovation and disruption, challenging the status quo, and driving organizations forward in competitive markets, he has built a distinguished career at the intersection of commerce, creativity, and culture.

He began his career at Storopack, a German-based global protective packaging provider, where he led the turnaround of the North American business as President during his 21-year tenure. He then joined the Healthcare Packaging Division of Bemis (NYSE: BMS) as Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. Following Bemis’ successful merger with Amcor (NYSE: AMCR) in 2019, Daniel relocated to Colorado Springs, CO, where he became a shareholder and Chief Commercial Officer at Chromatic Technologies Inc. (CTI), ultimately serving as its CEO from January 2024 until his departure in mid-2025.

Daniel has been deeply engaged in the performing arts. He served on the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) from 2018–2023, including during the global pandemic. In 2023, he joined the Board of the Colorado Symphony Association (CSA) in Denver and was appointed Co-Vice Chair in 2024. On April 1, 2025, he assumed the role of President & CEO of the Colorado Symphony, leading the organization into its second century.

In addition to his executive leadership, Daniel is an active investor and board advisor. Since 2023, he has served on the Board of Advisors of Diesco, a privately held beverage and packaging company with operations in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Colombia.

Daniel holds an Executive MBA from Steinbeis University (Germany) in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), ESB Business School Reutlingen (Germany), Kelley School of Business at Indiana University (USA), and DePaul University (USA). He has also completed executive education programs on digital business strategy at Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School, equipping him to lead innovation and digital transformation across sectors. In 2025, he was selected for the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute (CSLI).

The Wachter family resides in Colorado Springs, CO, where Daniel’s wife Tina works as a woodworker and installer at Wayfarer. Their daughters Louisa (20) and Fiona (19) are pursuing degrees in physiology at the University of Denver and journalism at CU Boulder. The family became U.S. citizens in 2022 while retaining their German citizenship. Since assuming his leadership role at the Colorado Symphony, Daniel also maintains a residence in downtown Denver, close to Boettcher Concert Hall which is the home of the Colorado Symphony.
