DENVER – March 4, 2014 – Tickets are now available for the concert portion of The Colorado Symphony Ball 2014, FROM BACH…TO ROCK! THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS, to be held Saturday, April 5, at the Fillmore Auditorium. Doors open at 8:30 pm. Concert-only tickets include cocktails, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, a post-concert party and music from the Colorado Symphony, The Moderators and the DaVita Blues All Stars.

Tickets are available for $150 each and include first-come, first-serve seating in the balcony.

As the most unique gala of the year, the Colorado Symphony Ball is a chance to celebrate with 1,000 of Denver’s business, cultural, non-profit, young professional and philanthropic leaders. The Colorado Symphony’s largest annual fundraiser, this year’s Ball promises to be even more exciting than the sold-out 2013 event.

“We’re reprising the theme of ‘black tie with rock flair,’ and we expect the crowd to once again show their creativity and style,” says Colorado Symphony board co-chair Mary Rossick Kern, who co-founded the Colorado Symphony Ball with Sharon Magness in 1992. “Last year we saw everything from ball gowns with leather jackets to tuxedos and cowboy boots. We encourage evreyone to have fun — and to join us on the dance floor.”

Presented by Arrow Electronics and DaVita, the event is co-chaired by DaVita’s Kent Thiry and Denise O’Leary. Governor John Hickenlooper will be presented with the esteemed Margaret Phipps Award, in recognition of his sustained and generous support of the Colorado Symphony.

Table sponsorships begin at $7,500. Single tickets to the full event begin at $500.
