TICKETS ON SALE APRIL 24 FOR THE RING IN CONCERT WITH THE COLORADO SYMPHONY

Experience the groundbreaking psychological horror classic accompanied by a live orchestra performance of Hans Zimmer’s chilling score, conducted by Jason Seber.

Apr. 20, 2026 – Denver, CO – Tickets will go on sale April 24 for the live concert performance of The Ring — the landmark psychological horror film directed by Gore Verbinski — with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall. Coming October 1, 2026, the film will be shown on four giant screens suspended above the stage as the Colorado Symphony performs Hans Zimmer’s haunting score, conducted by Jason Seber.

One of the most iconic modern-day horror films, The tale begins when the bizarre death of a teenage girl leads journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) to investigate a mysterious urban legend. In a cabin she discovers a videocassette containing disturbing imagery, and anyone who views the tape receives a chilling phone call from an unknown voice warning “seven days.”

In the liner notes of the original motion picture soundtrack, composer Hans Zimmer describes the score’s minimalist, unsettling approach as essential to the film’s creeping dread and psychological tension.

The Ring, released by DreamWorks Pictures in 2002, helped redefine modern horror and remains one of the most influential psychological thrillers of its era.

Tickets for these performances will go on sale Friday, April 24 at 10am MST. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit coloradosymphony.org.

About The Ring

In DreamWorks Pictures’ The Ring, a psychological horror film directed by Gore Verbinski, journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) investigates a mysterious videotape rumored to kill anyone who watches it exactly seven days later.

Now that Rachel has seen the tape herself, she races to uncover its origins before her time runs out—while protecting her son, Aidan, from the growing reach of the curse.

At first, Rachel believes the tape is an urban legend, but as her investigation deepens, she discovers a tragic story at the center of the mystery—and realizes the threat is real.

The Ring features a chilling score composed by Hans Zimmer, whose minimalist themes amplify the film’s dread and suspense, and helped cement the movie’s lasting impact on the horror genre.

THE RING is available now on Digital in remastered 4K Ultra HD from Paramount Pictures.
