Music in Motion

Guided movement and familiar music for older adults, particularly those experiencing memory loss.

A workshop in partnership with the Colorado Ballet where older adults, including those experiencing various stages of memory loss, explore music and dance through familiar live melodies, guided movement, and creative expression. Activities support mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and circulation while encouraging joy, improvisation, and community connection through adaptable seated or standing participation options. 

Workshops are by request only and subject to availability.

Meet the Instruments

Bring the Colorado Symphony musicians to your school for a fun, engaging demonstration of the different instrument families. Schools can customize the number of musicians they would like and what instrument families they prefer. Musicians will perform, talk about the instruments and what it’s like to be a musician and finish with a Q & A for students to ask their own questions.
