Afternoon: Just 30 minutes drive — Colorado Music Hall of Fame
You may not be familiar with the Colorado Music Hall of Fame if you have never been to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. A short 30-minute drive from Denver, you will find it inside the Trading Post at Red Rocks. It is a great place to learn about all the musical Colorado history, including icons such as John Denver, Dianne Reeves, Judy Collins, and more that made Colorado their home and the start of their musical careers. Your family will enjoy a field trip learning about many of their musical heroes and their music’s impact on Colorado. Admission is free, and the museum is open most days from 10 to 5.
Evening: Colorado Symphony
The Colorado Symphony is a professional orchestra located in Denver, Colorado that has delighted audiences since its establishment in 1989. The symphony is located in the Boettcher Concert Hall, which offers incredible acoustics and an unforgettable experience.
