Refunds & Cancellations

Due to high demand and attrition rates, school groups must finalize attendance and pay for their order no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. Any school that cancels after that point will be charged a $50 Cancellation Fee, regardless of financial aid status.

Unfortunately, no. Attendance numbers are finalized two weeks before the concert, and refunds are not issued after payment has been received.

Yes. If your group cannot attend due to weather, transportation issues, or other unavoidable events, we’re happy to help. Based on availability, we can reschedule your visit or issue a refund. Please contact the Box Office as soon as possible.

  SCHOOLS ARRIVING BY BUS*
School buses should follow the directions in the Welcome Packet. Please confirm these details with your transportation provider. For schools arriving by bus with teachers driving, please ensure this is communicated no later than 1 month prior to the concert. The Colorado Symphony team will work with the City of Denver to reserve parking meters along Champa Street.

  CARS & VANS
Cars/vans should park in the Denver Performing Arts Complex garage.

  LIGHT RAIL
Take the D, F, or H line to the Theatre District/Convention Center stop. Walk two blocks west on 14th Street, then turn left into the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Boettcher Concert Hall is at the southwest end.

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the concert start time to allow time for parking, check-in, and seating. Please factor in additional time for traffic and unloading.

Seating is assigned based on group size. Special seating requests are not accepted, but accessible seating is available — please contact us in advance if needed.

Facilities & Expectations

After the 10:00AM performance, your group must exit immediately to allow seating for the next performance. You may reenter the building once the 11:30AM performance begins.

After the 11:30AM performance begins, your group may use the restrooms on their way out.

If you are attending on a day with only a 10:00AM performance, please disregard. Restrooms are available for 45 minutes following the concert.

We strongly encourage using the restroom before the concert or allowing quiet restroom trips during the performance with a chaperone.

Yes, but space is very limited. If possible, please leave lunches on the bus. If you must bring them inside, our ushers will direct you to a storage area.

Eating inside Boettcher Concert Hall is not permitted. Groups are welcome to eat outdoors in Sculpture Park afterward, weather permitting.

We highly discourage 11:30 AM school groups from arriving early to eat lunch prior to the performance. The only space available is Sculpture Park, which acts as the pick up location for 10:00 AM school groups. Buses for the 10:00 AM concert will already be lined up, so there is no guarantee of a convenient location for drop off. If it is a necessity, we recommend you unload at Sculpture Park (or along Champa Street) to eat lunch, and then walk up Arapahoe Street and take a right onto 14th Street. There, a member of our team will get you checked in.

Weather & Emergencies

If we cancel the concert, you will be notified by email and/or phone. Please ensure your contact info is up to date on your reservation form.

If your district cancels school or field trips, but the concert is still happening, e-mail tickets@coloradosymphony.org. We will follow up after the concert to discuss rescheduling or refunds.
