The following is a Unit Plan directly connected with the Youth Concert: Colorful Colorado. This unit plan is not a requirement in order to understand the concert better, but more of a resource to use as you prepare your students for the concert experience. This unit allows you and your students to experience the music we will be performing as we commemorate the sesquicentennial anniversary (150th) of the state of Colorado. We encourage you to use whatever parts of the plan you would like, whether that’s taking a few classes and using the entire plan, or picking and choosing what would fit your classroom best.
